There is an unwritten rule in the 1-15 PvP map that concerns drops by players.
If a member of either faction drops an item upon death, and you decide to pick that item up, you are to return the item to that player. Usually this entails the player either asking you directly (if they are a member of your faction) or the player changing from his darkie toon to a lightie toon in order to request the item back.
If you are requested to return the item to a toon, and they can adequately describe the item, return it to them. Be sure to annotate the toon name you gave it to just in case there is a disagreement with who the item actually belongs too.
If you do not return the item it reflects badly upon the guild and could be grounds for being kicked from the guild
My advice is to leave items dropped by fury members alone. If you see a lightie die, make note of the toon name before you decide to pick it up. That way you will know exactly who to give it back to.
This "rule" was agreed upon by long-time pvper's in order to keep the 1-15 PvP are alive. Many do not have the funds to indulge in continually repurchasing PIDs so this rule was implemented so that dropping a valued item would not be a concern. If you decide to partake in 1-15 PvP please respect this rule.
One final note: I personally do not do PvP while carrying anything I would not want to lose. I also pack "junk" in my backpack so the odds are better that an important item won't drop. Finally, I save my gold and purchase PIDs when I can so I have them available for PvP.
